On a New Year’s Eve, at the mythical crossover of time and space, the New Year cannot wait to take over from his predecessor. The incumbent, however, so desperately wants to stay that he starts thinking about murdering his “successor”.
That is the beginning of Eugene Trivizas’ play, Twelve Minutes to Twelve: A Dream Play in Twelve Scenes and One Hourglass. It will be presented for the first time on Thursday, 18 December, at the Athens Concert Hall, with music by Dimitris Papadimitriou. The lead roles are played by Grigoris Valtinos and Panos Mouzourakis.
